New Designers Final Preparations.

With only a few days to go things have been very busy in my life. In a couple of days I will be leaving 3 years of life behind in Hartlepool and moving back to Bridlington. Then I will be heading to spend the week in London @ New Designers! So exciting! This week I have made some Cv's to take and we had to mock up our area of the stand. Vivienne Westwood Exhibition @ The Bowes Museum

I LOVE these can shoes, the particular drinks choice is great. I'd love a pair myself.

Today I went to the Bowes Museum at Barnard Castle! The exhibition celebrates Vivienne Westwood and her amazing shoes! It was great to see them in person and I love massive heels! Its such a great collection! I definitely recommend you go visit if you can! Its on till the 10th of July!

Where has the Week Gone!

I don't know where the week has gone! I can't believe its been a week since the degree show night! Well- incase you haven't been to see everyones beautiful work the show is still on till tomorrow at Church Square, Hartlepool! This week everyone also got their final marks back. For my FMP I got 78% and Professional Practice I got 90% I am so pleased. I've never worked so hard and these results put a smile on my little face! Next week- preparation for New Designers! Yay!

Lovely Surprise!

After the degree show I go a lovely surprise! My close friend Annie who came to see the degree show had bought me this lovely journal! I absolutely love the stuff you can buy in paperchase and this is going to be perfect for me to log my next adventures in! I love it! Thank you Annie!

What a Few Days!

Thursday was the TWENTY:ELEVEN degree show opening night! It was such a fab night and great atmosphere in the church! We had Malcolm Jarvis from the Bradford Textile Society open the show and he did a lovely speech. We then had all our friends and family round at 7pm and presented all the tutors with flowers which were very beautiful! The night went on and everyone had a fab time- we did some silly awards and I won funniest person, but I think I have Anni to thank for that. Below is a picture of me and my work.

Its TODAY!

TONIGHT! is the night, I've got my tag business cards done for the degree show night. I feel these go better with my antique theme as they look slightly vintage. They didn't take that long as I thought and I am really pleased with the results. Can't wait to start to get ready for tonight although I am debating whether to wear heels!
