Oscars 2014!

Talk of the showbiz news today is the Oscars 2014! So I thought I would join in and share some of my fashion favourites from the red carpet! 

Anne Hathaway wearing a gem covered halter dress by Gucci. You can never go wrong with a LBD. It makes her figure look amazing!

There is always someone who wears nude, and here we have it. Cate Blanchett's porcelain skin and blonde hair makes wearing this nude Giorgio Armani gown effortless. Simply stunning.

Jennifer Lawrence was another one of the best dressed at the ceremony, dressed in a gorgeous red number by Dior. However, it wasn't just what she was wearing everyone was talking about, she also had another fall!

Another embellished nude dress, Sally Hawkins wears Valentino.

Lady Gaga never fails to disappoint and always makes a statement in everything she wears. Not as outrageous as her normal attire Lady Gaga wear's a glamorous Versace number! Very feminine. 

Then there's that epic selfie! AMAZING! I'd love to photo bomb that one!

Birthday Card Designs.

As you know its recently been my birthday so I thought I would share with you some of the cards I received. 

The card above is a design you are seeing everywhere at the moment with varying messages. I think this one is particularly funny. 

The card above and the one below I love for different reasons. I do really like both of the designs content. The illustration of the girl is really cute and the added detail of the flower in her hair being 3D makes is stand out. I do wish I could do illustrated people. 

The card below is by Paperchase and is a laser cut design. I really like the detail. I couldn't imagine doing this by hand it would take forever. It reminds me of the work of Rob Ryan. 

The card below I LOVE! For obvious reasons... it includes super cute french bull dogs! I think Dylan would get very jealous of these! Who knows, maybe he can be on a card next year?

I bet some of you are guilty of this too!

The other day I was browsing the net with one of my close friends and we decided to 'google' ourselves. There was a few images of my friend that appeared in the search engine but I was amazed when I googled 'Lauren Cherice Designs' the page was full of my work. 

I guess this is a good thing as it associates me with my work on the net. I hope this helps with networking and helping people who have seen my work at the gallery or at Designer Marketplace to follow my progress.
