Robert E Fuller Exhibition @ Burton Agnes Hall.

Today I went to visit Burton Agnes Hall and its latest exhibition, the work of local artist Robert E Fuller. I have never seen his work before but knew his interests were similar to mine. Well, it was truly inspiring. His work is so details. I was fascinated by how he had captured each piece of wildlife.

This little hedgehog was my favourite, he certainly puts my little drawings to shame. Isn't he adorable!

He has a fab selection of his work for sale including originals. His work fills the long gallery at the top of the hall. You certainly miss whats around you when your busy looking at these pieces. They are amazing!

Robert also has his own gallery, located in Thixendale near Malton and also organises fantastic trips where you can join him and his passion for wildlife abroad. You can certainly see his love for animals by how he talks about them on his blog:

His work is available to view at the Hall until the 5th of October, get yourselves there!

Feeling inspired, I went to visit the local pond to see if I could capture some nature to draw myself. I was greeted by these ginormous geese!

Sasha Unisex

Sasha Unisex is a tattoo artist based in St Petersburg, Russia. I came across her work via a blog and thought I would check out her Instagram. I am too much of a chicken to get a tattoo myself but some of these pieces of work are simply beautiful. Have a look....

A little trip to York!

This week I had a lovely little trip to York to catch up with these two from Uni! Its been ages. It was a fab day although the sales did manage to persuade me to spend. Especially in Cath Kidston! How gorgeous is this bedding! I love birds, and love Cath Kidston's current designs which feature some lovely birdies themselves. However I didn't only just treat myself. Dylan got some extra special polka dot food bowls :)

We did try to get into York Minister but when we got inside it appeared to be close. The gift shop however was open and had various souvenirs with peoples names on. As you do, you can't resist having a nosey to see if your names there, this is what I found to my delight....

I would like to think its true :)

I also bought this gorgeous butterfly poster in Urban Outfitters. I couldn't resist. The office is nearly finished and I can't wait to get drawing and organising all my art equipment and books! I shall post a picture when its done.

I am also delighted to have had some very generous sponsors for my North Sea Dip which is less than two weeks away! Please feel free to help where you can:

Last Fair of 2013!

I know its nearly a little late but I thought I would just share with you some pictures from my last fair of this year. Here I was at the Merchant Hall in York with the From Yorkshire with Love Team. I had a stall there last summer and it such a beautiful location I thought I would come back for the Christmas season.

This time round I had a few new designs and some different products at hand! It was also lovely to see some familiar faces from the Living North event in November!

I also want to add I have now finished my time at CCAD helping out as a print technician. It is always a pleasure being back but I am looking forward to spending January planing more designs and hopefully popping back up for print club!

I hope you have all had a fab Christmas and if you have opened a present to find a Lauren Cherice product you love it!
