New Tote Bags!

As I really loved my other Tote Bags I decided to have a go at printing on black tote bags in metallic binder. I really love the birdy ones in silver and gold, I think they look very cute! (Even if I may so myself). I hope you like them too!

Nearly March Already!

Its that time of year again, and today I have been completing mounting my work for the Bradford Textile Competition. I entered this last year but wasn't successful so I thought with the sampling from my minor project I would give it a go again! I definitely think my drawing and print skills have developed from last years entry. Above are my four boards I'm entering, visual research, design development, my painted out final design and my final samples.

Lots and Lots of Development!

And then its my favourite part- producing the Koda Traces! Even though I get a little frustrated I do love this part. I usually do about 4 colour seperations per design but I think its best to do more to give you variation when it comes to the printing.
This is a very unusual picture I took of my painted out design whilst on the light box but I think it looks quite interesting to see the colours through.
Lots and lots of development has been going on over the last few weeks, starting off with some layouts, as seen above, using the photocopying method. Although I wasn't very keen on this design idea.

My Vintage Finds!

Whilst in Paris me and my friends went on the hunt for vintage clothes shop and we found some gorgeous expensive ones and some very cheap crazy ones! There was so much to choose and I managed to find a few buys myself! and for 10€ you can't go wrong! Here are my finds...

So, back from Paris had the best time again! Lovely Place! Just a little expensive here and there! Now back to hard work for me and my Final Major Project!

February Again!

So... Its that time of the year again and I'm very excited for Indigo and going back to Paris with the girls. I do hope its better weather than last year, though, the snow did make Paris look very pretty! I'm very nervous about going to the top of the Eiffel Tower! (if its open this time).
