High's and Low's...

Its been an emotional last two weeks again! I had to say goodbye finally to my friends in Hartlepool, but I know I will see them all again soon. We have had some funny and great memories and I will never forget them! They got me some lovely cards and pressies which made me cry my eyes out the messages were lovely!

I then had a very nervous monday morning when we got to find out whether we had passed my degree, but I am over the moon to say I now have a Bachelor of Arts of Textiles and Surface Design with First Class Honours! Yipee! I am so pleased all my hard work has paid off!

Lovely Day Out.

Last week I went on a little road trip and met some of my friends at a little village in the Yorkshire Moors called Danby. Danby has a lovely bakery where Charlotte's mum works so we got a little picnic together and ate it on the moors. It was a great day and we all loved it in the countryside, although the sheep's are rather brave in the moors. They jump out from all directions! Here, is a picture of us looking rather windswept having out sarnies! (And a nice finger print of charlotte )

Strawberry Fun!

Today I met up with some close friends of mine and we went on a little outing. Firstly, we took a trip to Danes Dyke near Flamborough but it was rather windy near the beach. Then we went to go strawberry picking near by!

It was dead lovely and the wind had dropped by now! There was loads of yummy strawberries to pick aswell! I was being quite selective and picking big red ones! Yum! It looks like we made the most of the weather today as we have just had a big downpour of rain with thunder and lightning!

Over the past three years I have made some great friends! I have never laughed so much and have some fantastic memories! We had such a fab time in London! I will miss you all so much but know we will always remain friends and see each other! Good luck to everyone! Love you all lots!

Me, Charlotte and Catherine!

This is me enjoying the party (sorry Mavis I stole this pic off you). New Designers was sponsored by Absolute Vodka so the drinks were free and definitely flowing!

New Designers 2011!

It was such a great week at the stand and everyone's work looked lovely. Big well done to Bev and Lucy on their well deserved contacts! Their work is gorgeous and was catching everyone's eye! :)

Here is a cheeky picture of Lyndon! Who entertained us by picking on me for the majority of the time! I love a good joke and it keep everyone laughing and smiling on the long days!

A big thank you to everyone who came to New Designers and the staff at CCAD for all their help!

This was my area of the stand, which was a little corner to display my lengths. I would say these are my top three lengths, with the brown and antique gold bringing out the rich tones of the mirror design infront.

Putting up the stand was rather stressful taking longer than expected but our stand looked so bright and colourful it was great!
