Tote Bags at the Topshop Metro Centre with the Folio!

Last friday the Folio at CCAD went on tour with the DIY Kids art and design students to the Topshop Store at the Metro Centre. Taking place was a fun badge workshop along with a brilliant display of some of the products featured in the Folio at CCAD in Hartlepool.

Its TODAY!

TONIGHT! is the night, I've got my tag business cards done for the degree show night. I feel these go better with my antique theme as they look slightly vintage. They didn't take that long as I thought and I am really pleased with the results. Can't wait to start to get ready for tonight although I am debating whether to wear heels!

Eeeeek One Day To Go!

Its been very hectic in the church over the last couple of days but everything has seemed to come together nicely. I have picked my best 5 printed lengths to display at the degree show, it was a very hard decision. I am really pleased with the results although a little nervous to see what people reactions will be, fingers crossed people will like.

Three Weeks till New Designers!

Aswell as the degree show prep! Its three weeks until New Designers! Well done to everyone again who has been selected! I am really excited but very nervous! I am excited to get all my work out over the past few years and see what goes best together! Although I think it will take some time!

Four Days!

Well, there's only four days till the degree show! Very nervous but Exciting! Hopefully there will be lots of people there to see all our hard work! New Designers.... Never Been Happier!

Friday came and I was sat waiting for a very important email. And at 15.37pm it arrived! I have been selected for New Designers in London! I am so pleased this is what I have been working towards this year! I've never been happier! Also a big well done to the others who have been selected there is 14 of us in total who will be at the college stand! These are some photo's I found I had taken in first year which seemed a long time ago now. Not long and I will be there myself :)

Successful Sponsorship!

I absolutely love colour and experimenting with different techniques! So, I was extremely excited that after applying for sponsorship, I was lucky enough to received some from the brilliant Colourist!

Colourist produce fabric transfer paints. I love to use them within my work to create bold backgrounds and combine with screen printing. The images above show the colours I chose which I am experimenting with in my FMP.

Adventures Awaits....

So as some of you may now know. Me and the Miss Anni Cranston have chosen to spend part of our summer volunteering in the lovely Africa! It is very exciting but still many months away! We are going over to do teaching in the schools and think it will definitely be an amazing experience! Although I'm not sure how good we will be at teaching... Rather nervous about this! I will keep you posted about any more news :) bye for now!
