South Shields...

I just found this blog post that I started writing in my drafts and not completed! How rude of me. It was about my trip up north last month! Can't believe it was a month ago already! Here I have some fun pictures from South Shields. The views were beautiful!

It was such a beautiful evening, and even better catching up with my close friends. Giving me my very own private tour :).

It is always interesting walking around other seaside towns and comparing them to home. With it only being March it was very quiet but I can imagine the place will be thriving with holiday makers this summer. They had on display these lovely billboards with pictures of the seaside, peoples old postcards and holiday makers. Here are some of my favourites...

I hope to share with you some more pictures of me visiting local places soon, in the mean time we have just moved home and studio! Very Exciting!

Staithes By the Sea!

On the way home we stopped at the lovely fishing town of Staithes! It wasn't at all as busy as Saltburn but was so beautiful. Every view made a lovely picture.

Down many of the little streets were cute and quirky holiday cottages. I don't know if we just had visited on a peaceful day but if your wanting a break from a busy city or town this is the place to choose. Although the seagulls were very chatty.

Using Instagram again, I can't seem to get enough of it. It is such a great app though to share beautiful imagery. Here is a could I took and edited with the app.

Update of the Last Week Coming Up! Part 2.

March is upon us and so is spring, fields are beginning to fill with daffodils- love them! This also meant it was time for my two friends from the north- Anni and Lindsay to come visit!

I wanted to show them as much as I could in the two days they was here, although it went by so fast it felt like they was only here a second. On the second day we went to Scarborough which was lovely. We had a nice long walk along the sea front, had an icecream (however, Anni knocked Lindsay's on the floor). We had a good walk and came across these murals on the walls down a side street. It was painted a few years ago by four different artists and took 710 hours! We thought it was amazing and adds even more colour to the seaside.

p.s Hope everyones had a lovely mothers day!
