Wedding Season!

Wedding Season for the Summer is well under way. This is my second wedding with another one to go! Jade looked absolutely stunning in her gorgeous lace vintage dress. The weather behaved itself putting everyone in an even better mood!

The reception took place nearly the lovely harbour in Bridlington! Here is a picture of the couple who wore some wellies and went on the beach for some photographs! They look fantastic!

Jade's sister Amy produced alot of hand made items such as this sign for the table, each table was called the name of a favourite sweet. We was strawberry laces! Yum! And we all got a little pot of sweets too!

The brides beautiful bouquet of flowers!

Christian Louboutin Exhibition @ The Design Museum!

I have loved being in London this year and here is another exhibition that I was able to visit. Photography wasn't allowed in the exhibition itself but I managed to get these few photographs.

As a girl who has a mass collection of shoes herself, this collection was amazing!

The exhibition celebrates the history of Christian Louboutin and shares its huge success of the last 20 years.

The show was styled so seductive and elegant. It was stunning. Inside the show was a special performance by the Burlesque Queen herself- Dita Von Tease. Which was projected onto a screen, though the way it was presented made you feel like she was standing there right infront of you. It's fair to say the men who was visiting the exhibition was getting a treat!

The Exhibition itself has now finished but for more information and too see some more pictures-here is the link below...

Screen Printing Love

Hello, I thought incase any of my followers aren't on facebook I would share with you some images of my recent prints. I am trying to make use of imagery that is ready to go so I enlarged my little squirrel and he is now ready to get printing. Here is my first prototype of him on a Tote Bag.

I am also back to printing cushions, this time I have been printing on a gorgeous sage green for summer. They have been printed in a lovely light brown. I'm sure my squirrel is dying to get printed onto one too :)

If you read my previous post you would of read I bought some wooden letters for my branding- here they are! I haven't quite decided what to do with them yet, whether to just varnish them or paint them white. I'm not sure. Either way I do think they look nice on my green rug :)

Hope you like my new creations!

Bridlington Old Town Festival!

Saturday was such a scorcher of a day! It was SO hot! On sunday it wasn't as nice but I still got chance to go down the the Bridlington Old Town Festival!

This shop caught my eye, the owners produce had made only items out of wood! The prices are of such great value as well! I bought some letters for myself which I will show in a later post.

How cute are these!

The weather didn't get to people with spirits on a high! There was great entertainment such as these morris dancers and earlier a tug of war! Can't wait for the next annual event of the town- Sewerby Gala!

Brighton!

I have never been to Brighton before but would love to go back. I couldn't believe though when I was walking down the street I came across this beautiful building! It was like closing your eyes and then waking up in India. So Beautiful!

Here is a beautiful chocolate shop, the cakes created were fantastic!

We only went for one night to Brighton for a Hen party, but would love to go back. Whilst there we walked past so many interesting and quirky shops. We did manage to get to visit the Pier and it was very windy to say the least! There was even some people swimming in the sea! They must of been freezing!

Damien Hirst Exhibition at the Tate!

Warning.... Spoiler Alert as I have included alot of Images from the Exhibition!

I had noticed a show on Channel 4 a month or two ago about Damien Hirst but not managed to watch it, but since I have seen his exhibition advertised at the Tate I have been dying to go. Luckily I have now had chance!
It was definitely an eye opening exhibition. My favourite part of it being the room of butterflies.... walking into the next room of the exhibition I didn't expect there to be a huge amount of butterflies free and flying around. It was amazing. I love them as it is but to see so many varieties and see them flying around quite freely was fab! I love how this room shows the life cycle of a butterfly with the caccoons hung on the walls with some of them open and some still closed.

Even though some may find looking inside the body of an animal disgusting, the way the animals are displayed in this exhibition makes it so intriguing.

Again, more butterflies! How fantastic are the colours of this piece below..

The Exhibition is on at the Tate till September! Get Yourselves There!
